I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
